90% chance of rain

That's what the forecast said. Didn't see a single drip. It was INCREDIBLY cold though. But I had a great time riding the CB :)

Found some unpaved roads again

Did a photo shoot with Vera (in this photo) and Simone. I'm used to shooting machines, animals and objects, it was a pretty new experience to work with people. It's not as easy as some people make it look. Learned a lot and we had a lot of fun.

Ton's Kawa/Amsterdam trip: KZ 750 street tracker

Last night I took the BMW to go to Amsterdam for some photo's. In Amsterdam I met up with Michal (fotoduda), a friend of his (he promised she would have long legs and believe me, they were long!) and Ton. Ton has build a very, very nice Kawa you might have seen on this site before. He'll readily admit that it is a bit of a Wrenchmonkeys copy, but that doesn't make the bike any less beautiful. Even though we got kicked out of the building we were taking the photo's in after 20 minutes already, we still had a great time. Hopefully we'll do this again soon with more bikes!

One from the archives

Don't think I've shown this one before, like it though:

In a week and a half we'll hope to mostly finish the Virago so we can start on the SR500. I also hope to attend a custom bike meeting saturday, looking forward to make some 'fresh' photo's!

Things are slow on the bike front

Saturday, 11:23 PM and I am still behind the computer fine tuning my final report. Sucks. But here's a few photo's to keep you entertained.

A sunny Sunday

Nice and sunny day today! Bit cold, but finally clean and dry roads. I took the CB for a 3 hour blast trough the Dutch countryside. I had way too much fun to stop for photo's.

When I got back my girlfriend wanted a go with the CB. She had not ridden the bike before, so I was curious to see if the bike wouldn't be too big or heavy for her. But all was fine, she loved it and she felt comfortable with the bike within a few meters.

I made some photo's, but the sun was already gone.

We've also worked on the Virago again this week. We've really been fighting the carb lately and this week was no exception. The bike gave a nice fire works display while trying to tune the carb:

First part of the video is from the side, second part is looking into the exhausts form the rear. I took the carb home with me to clean it thoroughly, which I've just done. We also need to find more (bigger) jets to play with to find the right set up. It's demanding quite a bit of our patience, but we'll get it to work.
